There are two main types of work visas available: SP and WP. S-pass is a work permit for intermediate technical level employees with bachelor's degree. The base salary is more than NZ 2000 (about 10,000 RMB), they are allowed to apply for permanent resident after work 2 years. Work-permit is suitable for ordinary workers, therefore language and academic qualifications are not required.

One great thing about employment in Singapore is low cost and visa processing fast. Besides that, the interview process is not that complicated, usually the employer will choose video interview. Generally, applicants are able to obtain their work visa within half a month after pass the interview.
