On November 6-7, 2018, the Eleventh Membership Conference of the China-Japan Collaborative Institute of Postgraduates was successfully held in Qinhuangdao. More than 200 members from nearly 140 member enterprises participated in the meeting. Chairman Qiuchen Fang, Vice-Chairman He Wang, the Asian Department of the Ministry of Commerce, the Department of Commerce of the provinces and municipalities, the Japanese Embassy in China, the Japan International Training and Research Institute, the National Agricultural Conference of Japan, and the Japan Special Education Corporation attended the meeting.

The Sino-Japanese Research and Student Co-operation Agency (Sino-Japanese Agency) is the only cooperative industry organization for skills practice in Japan in China. It has about 200 member enterprises, and its members'Congress is held every three years. At this meeting, a new Council was elected, and the work tasks of the co-ordinating bodies in the coming period will be studied and deployed by the new Council. At the conference, our company was re-elected as the governing body of the cooperative agency, and was elected as vice president unit. At the same time, it was awarded the "Top Ten Sino-Japanese Skills Practice Cooperation Enterprises in 2017".

The convening of this meeting coincides with the historical node of China's reform and opening up and the 40th anniversary of the conclusion of the Sino-Japanese peace and friendship treaty. Sino-Japanese relations have returned to normal track and regained positive momentum. At the same time, based on the technical internship system, Japan continues to relax the foreign labor importing policy. A series of policy environments have created a good macro environment and development opportunities for Sino-Japanese technical internship cooperation.

Fang Qiuchen, chairman of Sino-Japanese Institutions, made a comprehensive analysis of the development situation of Sino-Japanese Skills Practice Cooperation in his work report entitled "Playing Competitive Advantage, Persisting in Innovation and Development, Jointly Creating a New Situation of Sino-Japanese Labor Service Cooperation",  Assisting the government in building cooperation frameworks and serving enterprises to expand their business and other major tasks.He emphasized that under the background of Japan's relaxed foreign labor policy, member enterprises should unite consensus, overcome difficulties and strive to highlight China's differentiated competitive advantages, explore and practice diversified business model, and work hand in hand to create a new situation of labor cooperation between China and Japan.

The conference also invited Japanese representatives, such as the Japanese Embassy in China, the International Research and Training Co-operation Agency, the National Agricultural Conference and the Japanese Specialized Education Corporation, to give explanations on the new technical internship system, the introduction of foreign talents system, the agricultural talents system of the National Strategic Special Administrative Region, and the explanation of the Japanese language grade examination. Du Jiyuan, assistant general manager of the company, was invited by the Chamber of Commerce to act as an on-site translator for the presentation meeting, and received high praise from the leaders and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce.
